Julie is a solicitor who brings considerable knowledge and experience working with the small business sector and local government. She has a strong understanding of environment and planning law, water resources law and employment law, including skilled migration.
- Julie has successfully prepared planning objections against multi-million dollar developments as well as providing general advice to businesses on how best to deal with planning issues and their interactions with local government and state agencies.
- Water resources law is an important part of Julie's practice and she has in the last two years managed water dealings in excess of $10 million.
- Julie has also provided advice to irrigators and their representative organisations on their rights in relation to irrigation corporations, state government legislation and federal government legislation and water reform initiatives.
- Julie monitors the water reform debate and stays abreast of political and legislative issues that impact on Murray-Darling Basin communities in order to provide high quality advice to clients about future directions of water reform.
- Julie is a registered Migration Agent, specialising in skilled regional migration. In this role she works closely with regional businesses to prepare applications for Business Sponsorship, 457 visas and Regional Skilled Migration Scheme visas.
